these findings that some bone marrow damage
persists at 5 years post exposure.
The Rongelap people generally havea slight
anemic tendency(very slightly microcytic) compared with Americans. The cause is unknown.
Apparently it is not due to iron deficiency, since
serum iron levels are generally normal. It may
