Dear Bill,
The surgery was quite successful on all four of the Marshallese
cases.
We were quite relieved that
did not have a cancer.
The thyroid glands in the boys were in very bad shape and have to
be removed almost completely.
They have all recovered satisfactorily
from their operations except for a slight drainage in the case of
and
.
Sebio has bandages and can dress these wounds.
However
if one the cases should develop chills and fever and take a turn for
the worse, I hope that you will see that they get the necessary medical

attention.

I certainly don't expect this to happen.

The people are looking forward to their visit in Hawaii and I
am most appreciative to you and your wife for anything that you may

do for them.

They had a wonderful time in the United States, and I

am sure they will take back many pleasant memories of their visit.
With best regards to you, your wife, Mr. Bonnet and the others.
