In addition tothe major effort on the five nilitary effects shots, a somewhat smaller effort was expended on some of the :EC diagnostic shots. A camera station was installed to record the effects of the thermal pulse on certain materials. Several aerial photographic surveys were accomplished of craters vroduced by land surface detonetions; aerial surveys were accomplish- ed to locate strings of gages placed in the water prior to several shots; and mosaics were flown of Johnston Island, and ali the islands of both Bikini and Eniwetok Atolis for planning purposes. For documentary purposes, approximately 60,000 feet of original 351M Eastman Color Negative film was exposed from which a nilitary effects motion picture film report will be premred after the operation.
