four days and could then return to Kwajalein and try to schedule the Marshall
Island airline plane to arrive there for the Utirik part of the survey.
If you agree with such a schedule, it would be necessary for you to
look into the methodology for surveying the patient radiation dose from the
different types of x-ray pictures that are used at Ponape; namely, chest AP
and lateral, upper G.I. series, extremity, IVP, and barium enema.
We would
also have to survey the possibility of radiation outside the x-ray facility.
I also think we should do the latter with ionization chambers, which I will
arrange to get at this end.
Kindly let me know your reaction as soon as
possible so that definitive plans can be made.
