Program
Soil samples have
been obtained trom many pisces on the globe, including Turkey, England,
New Zealand, and Japan.

Exceptionally high
counting rates were observed at altitudes of 75,000-300,000 feet.
He sai
this raised a question whether there was an accumulation of radioactive
debris-from the Mike shot above the north magnetic pole.
Electrostatic
collection of particles at high altitudes will be attempted to see if
this can be verified.
This matter was discussed and the view expressed
that the high counts probably had nothing to do with Mike debris, but
rather were caused by the auroral zone.

About twenty Chicago babies, mostly stillborn, have been analyzed for
Assays
strontium 90.
Sample
The results averaged about 107-4 of the tolerance figure.
Cheese samples from various locations ranged from 10-4 to 10-3 times
