Sample collections Water samples were collected from the water supplics of all inhabitec About two quarts of watcr wore transferred to a polycthlenc bottle at each site, analysis, These will be turned over to the New York Opcrations Office{AEC SF Soil samples wore collected at all inhabited arcas and also at severe uninhabited islands, In collecting tho soil samples a one foot by one foot square was mar@don the ground and soil to about ono inch of depth was remover from the square and transferred to a cardboard container. The primary sample: will be turned over to the New York Operation Office, ASC, for analysis, and some smaller samplos will bo analyzed by Program 2 of TU 13.
