Dear Will:
The ealculations and data on the Narshallese have
been sitting on my desk for about six months and I have
been unable to make head or tail of them,
I am scheduled to leave New York February 24th for
my “annual vacation" in the Marshall Islands. Would it be
possible for me to come to San Francisco a couple of days
in advance to see you on either Saturday or Sunday and
review these crazy numbers?
Please answer promptly (which will be unusual). I
trust Jean and the children are fed up with your presence and
that you are planning another trip. It will be nice to get
together for a night in San Francisco, Sausalito, Berkely,
Oakland, San Mateo and any other place that has booze,
