Dear Dr. Weber: In December 1959 I called your office with reference to the above named who came to this hospital under the auspices of the Inrem oi Bmpioyecs Compensation, He gave a history of exposure to thermomiclear radiation during a Pacific test in 1951. Sub- sequertly, he was found to have an elevation of his white count with an increased mmber of lymphocytes. Ne diagnosis of isukemia could ever be established, but he is umier sbservation with such a diacrosis being a possibility. Our consultant in hematology, Dr. C. Lockard Conley, advised us that such incividuals have ordinarily been folloved by tha Atomic Energy Comission and are of umisual interest to thea, We have questioned our patient and to his knowledge nsither be, nor a fellcw worker exposed at the saws tire, has been “officially” followed.
