Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon
All Class 3 and motor vessels shall have a USCG approved
TYPE A Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon (EPIRB) stowed and tested in
accordance with current instructions.

supplies recommended by the BNL Industrial Clinic.

Operational Requirements

STATION BILLS
All Class 2 and larger vessels shall have posted in conspicuous
place(s) station bills setting forth the duties of the crew. and scientific
personnel under emergency situations.

DRILLS ©
All Class 2 and larger vessels shall conduct and log routine
emergency drills for fire, collision, grounding, man overboard and abandon
ship.

LOGBOOK
All Class 2 and larger vessels shall maintain an official
logbook.
