The Commission's scientific group,
heoded by a Test Director, has boen placed under the Vask Force
Commander for over-all operational control,
It 1s estimated that the toto. expenditure will bo
$27,500,000, of which $20,009,000 will represunt the cost of
the participaticn of the Armed Forces |rhove their normal
operations, This cost will be borne by the Atomic Energy
Commission,
Over-all security will be the responsibility of the Task
Force Commendgr.
