OIS had earlier requested NV to prepare a public announcement regarding the survey. A copy of the proposed announcement was provided to members present, and they were requested to provide comments by Monday, October 2, 1972, Several corrective comments were identified immediately with OIS making note. There was a question of where the public announcement, if any, would be made, and it was hoped this would be resolved at the inter- agency meeting on October 5. The next meeting of the Headquarters Eniwetok Coordination Committee will be October 6, 1972, at 10:00 a.m.
