OBSERVED WIND VELOCITIES ABOVE THE STANDARD PLATFORMS
Relative wind direction is measured clockwise from the bow of all vessels, and indicates
the direction from which the wind is blowing. No recording anemometers wereinstalled
on YFNB 13-E and YFNB 29-H; the LST 611 instrument malfunctioned.
