Sergeant, Director, Security Division PRNC SAMPLING PROGRAM AT BIKINI ATOLL As a followup to the PRNC oceanographic survey in the Marshall Islands in the fall of 1972, the Puerto Rico Nuclear Center plans to conduct an additional sampling program, both ashore and afloat, in the vicinity of Bikini Atoll during the approximate period October 18 through November 8, 1974. A copy of a letter dated July 1, 1974, from Dr. Frank G. Lowman, PRNC, céncerning these plans is enclosed. The four PRNC staff members scheduled to conduct the sampling program also participated in the 1972 survey. "Q" clearance. Dr. Frank G. Lowman has an active Dr. Seppo Kolehmainen is a Finnish National, and Messrs. Jose Angel Rivera Colon and Michael Eugene Lowman held “L" clearances during the 1972 survey. Forster) indicates the LSU-8 may be scheduled for runs in the vicinities of Eniwetok, Rongelap, and Utirik Atolls during‘'the time interval concerned.
