Population from annual reports, Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands. The 1958, 1967 and 1973 pooulatior
were enuerated in a Territory-wide census. Tne 1974 and 1975 populations are projected based on 1973
census population. Population in this table is permanent resident population from appendix I, B. page 162.
Births ard deaths are frcm certificates registered for events in each year. Figures for 1970 - 1974 have
increased from previous reports by the inclusion of events which were registered late (delayed. registeratic
