Dear Don:

You have had not the pleasure to meat Helen Garnett as yet. She is
Professor of Microbiology, University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg,
South Africa. Aside from being a charming individual and, incidentallykk
both she and her husband are quite good tennis players, she is an excellent
scientist. She will be in the Los Angeles area and, aside from some scientific visits, she would like very much to be pointed in the right direction to
see the proper museums, etc. Incidentally, she has admired some of the

Paglia exhibit at 5 Ivy Lane.

I have suggested that she visit the Los

Angeles County Art Museum, La Brea, the museums at Exposition Park, and,

I believe, it'a the Huntington Museum in Pasadena or some nearpy town that
has the Blue Boy and other famous paintings by Gainesborough.

Warmest personal reggadds,
Sincerely yours,

Bugene P. Cronkite, M.D.
