Strughold, PHD, MD, Chief, Department of Space Medicine, USAF
School of Aviation Medicine, Randolph Field, Texas, on "Medical

Problems Involved in Orbital Space Flight." The paper is to be
given at the Space Medicine Session, American Rocket Society
Anmal Meeting, at the Diamond Jubilee Annual Meeting of The
American Society of Mechanical Engineers, in Chicago, Illinois,
November 13-18.

As this paper relates to satellites, I have reviewed it with

the National Science Foundation and the National Academy,

The

Department of Defense proposes to release the attached paper and this
action is concurred in by the National Academy and the Science Foundation, subject to our instructing the author that he mst in no way
relate this paper or hie address to the current scientific satellite

program.
