DESCRIPTION The Rocket Assembly Building (completed in 1966) is a metal fran
structure with corrugated cementasbestos roofand siding andconcrete floor. Itconsists ofa 28x 40-ft. assembly areaanda 16x 22-ft. payload storage facility. The
building is air conditioned to maintain 76°F maximum temperature and a relative
humidity of 50 percent. Two double doors 9-ft. high 8-ft. wide provide for forklife access.
Both doors are located at the front of the building, one at the as-
sembly area and the other at the storage area. The assembly area has approximately 54 lineal feet of workbenches. The workbench adjacent to the east wallis
placed on an 8-ft. wide x 27-ft. long strip of conductive linoleum. The storage
facility is provided with storage racks, static conductive flooring and an explosior.

Approximately 30 kva of 120/208 volt, 3 phase, power (including power for exteri:flood lighting) is provided to the building. A protective berm, 12-ft. high is located 15-~ft. south of the building. An exterior weatherproof receptacle (rated at
100 amp,
120/208 volt) is provided on the west wall to accommodate a machine-
shop type support trailer.
