SAGE, NIT BM:SW On February 29 I met with Professor Sage, of the Department of Industrial Cooperation, M.I.f., relative to M.I.7.'s making a Special study on the Gabriel Report. After a full reyiew of , available persael it looked as though Professor Reter,’in charge A a study during the summer, envisaged as , ‘ eat i of the Metezgrology Department, who has a very seund background in mathematics, might well be the leader of the study, and that other adequate personnel could be obtained. This would be mdertaken as 7 duration and participation of six to ten M.I.f.and other faculty members. Professor Sage is to explore this further and will have an answer within approximately a week's time. It was felt that with the data now available and that which wuld become available by the Spring test, a vary wrthy contribution might well be made. This matter was discussed vith Mr. W. J. Willians, the Deputy General Manager, AEC, and he gave his approval.
