reported aboard for passage to BIKINI ATOLL, MARSHALL ISLANDS.

authority mumber 002 of 29 May 1946, Dr. J.H. LUM, civilian, reported aboard for passage to BIKINI
ATOLL, MARSHALL ISLANDS.
Pursuant to SECRETARY OF WAR orders, authority number 005 of 9 July 1946, Dr.
B.C. UREY, civildsenhem, reported sboard for passage to BIKINI ATOLL, MARSHALL ISLANDS. 1500 Made all
preparations for getting underway. Mustered crew on stations, no absentees. 1540 Stationed the
special eea detail. 1554 Hove to short stay. 1557 Anchor aweigh. Underway from berth "C®, KWaJALEIN
ATOLL, MARSHALL ISLANDS in accordance with CTG 1.7's dispatch 2202167 of July 1946, Captain et the Con,
Navigator on the tridge. Steaming on various courses and at various speeds while standing out of
harbor.
