~RMENDMENT TO MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
SUBJECT: Cleanup of Bikini atoll
_ RBFERENCEs Mexorandum of Understanding, subject as above, dated 29 April 1969
Based on additional information obtained through further reconnaissance and consultation with mr. J.A. Tobin changes te the referenced
moncrandum ere indicated. The signers of this amendment agree to the
following additions and deletions te the original memorancdus.
1. Paragraph Awl. Delete last sentence. Add; All existing wells shall
be filled with soil so as to not present a physical hasard.
2. Paragraph Bel. a.(3) Delete building numbers 287,
3. Paragraph 5.1.a.(9) Delete Last sentence. Adds Save all usable
reefer boxes that are not rotted.
lL. paragraph B,l.c. Delete the sentence; On the southwest corner of
the island...shall be left in place. Adds All existing vegetation bounded
vy the roeys parking apron and lagoon on the southwest corner shall be
