Everett Holles has returned from
Eniwetok and confirms the impression which
I have had and which I likewise received
from some of the military observers who
have returned, to the effect that it was
a "ten-strike" to have invited the press
representatives. It seems to me that all
of the stories were obvious attempts to be
as factual as possible on the basis of the
information available and that they were
notably devcid of horror overtones,
Since I took the action after obtaining yceur advice, it seemed only proper
to come back and tell you that the advice
proved to be good,
