clearly indicated. The precise position of the station with respect to
the central or most intense rain shaft is not known, but a neardiametric transit is probably’ indicated by the maximum intensity
spikes of 38 mm/hr on September 30 and 14 mm/hr on May 19. The
low-intensity portions were apparently composed of stable rain and
spray between active cells. The total rainfall amounts from these sys-
tems were 0.37 and 0.27 in., respectively.
Contaminant Concentrations
In both cases, the changes of the contamina-
tion levels of the rain samples are considerably different from those
considered above (well-organized systems), Again, pollens were not
