NUCLEAR TEST DETONATIONS ANNOUNCED
A nuclear test detonation took place at 5:30 A.M., June
28, 1958, Eniwetok time (1:30 P.M., June 27, 1958, EDT) at the
Bikini Atoll.
Another nuclear test detonation took place at
6:30 A.M., June 28, 1958 Eniwetok time (2:30 P.M., June 27, 1958,
EDT) at the Eniwetok Atoll.
The tests are part of the HARDTACK
nuclear weapons test series underway at the Eniwetok Proving
Ground.
