AEC informed the Executive Secretary NSC, that last .
minute changes in the fissionable material content of
the thermonuclear device must be made, and that as the
dollar cost and weapon value of the material content
remains the same, it is the Commission's opinion that
the amounts of fissionable material considered necess-
ary are within the Presidential directive.

2. -The Executive Secretary of the NSC notes that the Presi~
dent is being advised of the above.
3.
CJTS-132 18 authorized by teletype to expend the addi-
tional materials required and to proceed with the
detonation as planned.
