It was recommended that more remotemethods of handling filters
for future tests be devised,
On ZEBRA-plus 3 days all of the ships of the task force
in the lagoon were inspected by monitoring parties.
These groups
paid particular attention to the blower intake screens, the open
decks, the ship's boats, the evaporators, the auxiliary condensers
and any cargo that the ship happended to have on board,
All monitoring operations ceased after ZEBRA-plus 5, and the
test island was declared closed.
Captain Qigua was assigned to
Femain at Eniwetok Island until relieved by the permanently assigned
garrison minitor.
