ROLL-UP PLAN FOR TASK GROUP 7.4
In compliance with paragraph ) of Fieid Order No. 2, Headquarters,
Joint Task Force SEVEN, Task Group 7. submitted a revised "Withdrawal
and Roll=1p Plan on 25 March 19L8.
In reading this plan after the
accomplishment of the mission, it is easy to understand why things
moved elong so smoothly in the roll-up of Task Group 7.1.
From the
earliest action that took place on "Z" minum fifty (50) days, there
was evidence of clear thinking on the part of the planners of Task
Group 7el.

"Z" minus fifty (50) days was chosen as the time to clear the island
of all equipment and supplies which had been determined to be excess to
requirements.
The material was prepared for shipment to either Oahu or
the Zone of Interior.
Pack-up of all supplies and equipment which
were declared excess to the final test was started on "Z" minus ten
(10) days.
On "Z" minus five (5) days packing and crating, sections were
established and teams to inspect this work were organized under the
control of the Air Installations Officer.
