cable could be loaded and laid infrom 24 to
36 hours, and it is long enough to replace
any individuvel length of submerine cable in
the existing network.
Upon completion of
current operations it will be covered ‘with
canvas end send, fenced and posted, and
available for future operations.

Should future repairs be necessary a suitable
repair ship, as outlined in Fara. 5 (c) is
recormended.
However under the bottom condi-
tions prevailing in the Eniwetok Lagoon re-
pairs will be slow and difficult regardless
of the type of ship employed.
