Schwartz et al. there is a court Summons and Complaint against the Regents and certain
namedindividuals, including Dr. Alpen. The plaintiffs complain of nuclear arms
research undertaken by the University at LLL and at Los Alamosandthealleged
improprieties on the part of seven membersof the Board of Regents. The counsel for the
case, Donald L. Reidhaar, hopes “that we will be able to dispose of much and perhaps
all of this suit through various procedures and motionspriortotrial.”
