pier on Site Janet. On 10 January 1958 another
typhoon, “Ophelia,” struck, with its full force
felt about 300 miles southwest of Eniwetok
Atoll. Damage at Eniwetok Atoll was determined
to be about $20,000. Again there were no personnel casualties; construction schedules experienced
Namorik Atolls to offer assistance to the natives
who felt the brunt of the typhoon.
