The two transportainers were installed 6 feet apart and behind a sandbag revetment 8 feet wide and 7 feet high. Two timing signals were provided to each station. With the relocation of the ABMA Program,the facility was cancelled. STATION: 940 SITE: Glenn USER: EG&G/DOD PURPOSE: Pad for Photo Truck PARTICIPATION: 43, 44 DESIGN PSI: None CONSTRUCTION: 2-17-58/4-26-58 This station consisted of a 20x25-foot raised and stabilized area used for photographic equipment location. PARTICIPATION: 1 and 15 STATIONS: 941, 942 DESIGN PSI: SITE: Glenn CONSTRUCTION: 7-18-58/7-22-58 USER: EG&G/DOD Each station was a 3-inch-diameter, extra strong, galvanized steel pipe projecting 30 inches PURPOSE: Photo Station a concrete anchor block 2 feet in diameter by 2 feet deep . DESIGN PSI: None above grade, threaded on top, and embedded in STATION: 910 SITE: How USER: DOD/CDC PURPOSE: Rocket Station PARTICIPATION: None DESIGN PST: None CONSTRUCTION: 3-3-58/3-31-58 Fifty feet of the two 100-foot-long slabs of REDWING Station 261.01 were used for this station. The 12-foot space between the two slabs was filled with a 12-inch-thick slab 50 feet long to provide a launching pad. The station number applicable was assigned for the first location, then renumbered for the second location. A wood structure 9x19x9-foot-high was located on the starboard gun mount platform of an LCU hull. The starboard sidewall had a remotely operat- ed drop door; the port sidewall contained six shutters. Power was supplied by two User-furnished 5-kw, single-phase generators. junction boxes and a conduit were installed. With the relocation of the ABMA Program, this fa- cility was cancelled.
