On 4 August 1952 the Commander, Joint Task Force 132, submitted a

report to the JCS which outlined the organization of the Joint Task Force,
participation by the armed forces, and basic operational plans and policies for the conduct of Operation CASTLE.

This Operation Order is based

on the plan submitted to the Joint Chiefs of °taff.
