Yeu are hereby designated as senior member of all personnel of the H&N
Group te be engaged in rehabilitation and reactivation of the Rad-Safe
Stations at Sites-Rongelap and Wotho.

As such, you will have authority to:
| Perform all necessary work in connection with activation
of these stations, including offloading of the ship and
transfer and storage of equipment.
Establish and administer rules and regulations pertaining
to persennel conduct while ashore which will insure contin-
uing goed relations with Trust Territory and native personnel,
The LST 618 will depart Eniwetok on or about 1600 heurs on Menday,
10 March 1958 and will arrive at Rongelap about 0700 heurs on Wednesday,
12 March, The LST will depart Rongelap about 1600 hours en Saturday,
15 March, arriving at Wethe about 0700 hours on Sunday, 16 March. The
return trip to Eniwetek will depart Wetho abeut 1500 heurs en Wednesday,
19 March, arriving at Eniwetek about 1700 heurs en Thursday, 20 March.
Yeur group will censist of the persennel listed on the attached sheet,
Personnel whe are scheduled te remain at Sites—Rongelap and Wetho are
indicated as greups (1) and (2) en the attached sheet; all other per—
sonnel] will retum te this site upon completion ef mission, |
