ALGAH - Will be collected at Rongelap Island only in conjunc- tion with reef fish collections. BIRDS A. B. Five Noddy Terns will be taken at Kabelle. Guano will be collected at Kabelle. RATS - AS many rats as possible will be collected at Rongelap. Tissues will be pooled by approximate age groups.' SOILS A. Composite sample of top inch from Rongelap, Kabelle Islands. B. Eniaetok and Resampling of 1" increments to depths of six to nine inches at plots 1 and 4 (Rongelap and Kabelle Islands). C. Random composite sample 0-6" from fertilizer plots which will be established. LYSIMETERS A. AS many leachates as possible wiil be collected from lysimeters established in August. B. No new lysimeters will be instailed but some will probably need to be reestablished. SURVEY METER READINGS 1958. A. Will be repeated at same locations as in March and August B. Locations will be plotted on base maps. FILM BADGES Depending on the possibility of a cooperative arrangement with Radsafe personnel at Eniwetok, it is hoped to place fiim badges at various locations on Rongelap Island.
