APPENDIX 7 TO ANNEX G C47 FLIGHT PROCEDURES One (1) C~47 will stand by for emergency re-supply missions at San Diego Navel Air Stetion from K minus three (3) deys until completion of the mission, The Senior sir Controller in the Air Operctions Center will run a roster of stand-by crews for this mission, These crews must be evailable on one (1) hours' notice, A second C-47, cc1l sign Reflector, will take off on mission day from San Diego Naval Air St<tion as specified in Annex D and proceed to the northern tip of San Clemente Island, This airereft will ect as an automatic VIF relay station between Dirty Fece and Boundzry Tare, Reflector will call Boundary Tore on VHF Channel C when fifty (50) miles out from bese, ‘hen over the northern tip of San Clemente Island, Reflector will report his position to Boundary Tare, Reflector will establish contact vith Boundary Tare on HF frequency 4220, the comuon HF reporting net betyveen the Sen Diego ACC and Boundary Tare, Reflector till continue to monitor VHF Charmel C but’will not transmit on this channel unless necessitated by emergency, Reflector rill use HF Chermel 4220 for necessary transmissions to Dirty F: ce or Boundry Tere, but will observe strict radio discipline wiile doing so, If the VHF relay equipment operates satisfcctorily, there should be very Little contact with either Boundary Tare or Dirty Face required, Upon completion of* its mission, Reflector vill be vectored beck to base by Boundery Tare, Bound:ry Tere will relecse dircet control of Reflector to Dirty. 2Face vhen fifty (50) milcs out from Base,
