Zith the publication of General Orders Ko. 8, JTF-132, 23 July
1951, the wrmander of JTP-152 assnwd commani of those elements of
JTF-S which remained on Iniwetok (7).

Both ections were effec-

tive 1 august 1981,
Initislly, the Garrison Force consisted of personnal chosen to
etaff Task Group 5.2 on departure of GREENHOUSE units end personnel
during May and early dune 1952,

Since as many individuals as possible

were chosen with uncompleted tours of duty for the garrison, rotation
problems immediately arose,
