somewhat inconsistent;
on the one hand they are asking that
the AEC develop a deliverable thermonuclear weapon at the
earliest possible date; on the other hand they wish to cut the
task force which is necessary to test these weapons,
‘The post-
ponement does not seem -to be long enough to justify disbanding
the task force.
If this 1s dorie, it will only be necessary to
build up a hew one which could lead to further delays.
