The part near the epiphysis was red and fibrous; the
center was ucGullary in places. The dinphysis was fat narrow; red tinted
in ptaces, and yellow celatinous. There was less fat marrow than -n the
left feaur; it extended a point 17 cm upvard from the lower end of the
ferur. Part of fat narrow vas jeandiced. (See photocraph Hol.)*.
SPluAL COLUUN. The lunbar vertebral section vas red; the center was
ratullary and slightly evcy. Red moadullary substance extended tovard
the cortix; the consistency was thin. The central narrow shoved signs of
proliferation; bat the proliferation was not extensive toward the edges.
A sinilar condition was observed in the marrow of the thoracic bones. STEPNUM.
