BOTS and SHIPS:
The detonation of BUTTERNUT today and the problems associated with re-entry
and this being K-1 and W-3 caused the following arrangements to be made
after R-Hour was announced at 0920:
a.
An LOU wes sent to Yvonne to lay Holly moorings.
b.
LCU 454 was sent to Gene to act as "Chow’ boat.
c,
An LOM was sent to Gene to go between the islands during the day.

Two water taxis were sent up-island; one to leave Gene at 1600 for
Zilmer; and one to leave Gene at 2000 for Elmer; both could stop at
Yvonne.

Carly permission to start the Navy Boat Pool and Poat Pool Detach-
ment running Doats to the target array ships was obtained.

A trip to Mack Fhoto Tower was arranged but had to turn back without

PETRARCA is back loading at the pier for JCHNSTON today and tomorrow.
