24, 1958,

The present plins aré to spend about five days
at Rongelap Island, tr: deye at Enlaetok Island,
and five days at Xab2lle Islnd.

ll, Mr. Neas suggested thit Mr. MecKenzie and one

Survey froup. We hene that they will be able toa
do so,
It would be very helpful 1f the servises of
two or three of the Ronselapese could be secured
to help ln eolleeting samples during the survey.
Also, we should like to arrange to have one man
change cherts at weekly intervals on meteorological
instruments to be left at Rongelap until next spring.
The people-have been-most ccoperative in such matters,
but rather than continue to impose on thelr good nature we snould like to pay them for their services,
