J PHYSICAL EXAMINATIONS: a, A. examination be given to all personnel within 48 hours of departure from their ations, to detect communicable disease. Individuals found to have communicable disease will not depart home station until free of the disease. A report in the form of a roster certificate will be furnished the Unit Commander by the Medical Officer making the examination. J b. Complete physical examination will be accomplished only in those individual cases in which the record of performance of duty is such as to indicate apparent disqualifying condition which was developed since last determination of physical examination, or in those specific cases in which a Medical Officer deems such examination is required. ce. Complete physical examinations of personnel requiring exam ination in accordance with paragraph 1, b, above will be accomplished promptly J upon determination that such examination is required. / flying personnel if their date of departure is within sixty (60) days of J J d. J An annual physical examination will be accomplished on all their birth date. This will be a flying type physical. e. Dental check and dental work will be completed before departure from home station, f. In general, persons considered physically qualified for duty in the United'States are qualified for overseas assignments . 2. J Disposition of physically or mentally unfit personnel will be made in accordance with current service directives. ‘ IMMUNIZATIONS: a. Requirements for Yellow Fever, Typhus, Cholera and Diptheria immnizations have been waived for this mission. All personnel will be required to have complete immnization or stimilating doses against Smallpox, Typhoid Fever, and Tetanus, as shown below: (1) Smallpox - Within one year prior to departure for overseas.
