Purpose and Scope: The procedure prescribed herein, including securitv instructions, is to be followed by Air Force agencies in the marking of overseas supply shipments for TG 7,4 to insure an efficient uninterrupted flow of supplies to proper overseas consignees. The marking of organizational impedimenta shipped by depots and from home stations is covered in paragraph 5. b. Marking at Supply and/or Manufacture (1) Sources: Requisitions for supplies emanating from Task Units and this Headquarters will indicate the exact coded overseas address to be placed on all shipments. Geographical names, unit designations, station numbers, troops, bases, names of overseas personnel, or clas~ sified information will not appear on the requisition prover, Such classified information as is necessary for proper editing will be placed on a separate cover sheet which also will bear the names of requesting approving officers. The cover sheet will be classified appropriately in accordance with the information contained on both the requisitions and the cover sheet. (2) It is the responsibility of all organizations and agencies issuing shipping orders or preparing requisitions, to provide correct markings which will permit ready identification of all shipments. Domestic and overseas addresses as prescribed on shipping orders and requisitions will not be changed by shippers. ce.
