The first 15 minute leg of cloud photography was flown at 20,000 feet. CARTER 1, climbed to 25,090 fect cn the back leg and completed the missicn at this altitude, CARTE 2 and 3 maintained a 20,00° feet altitude with an unrestricted view of the nuclear cloud.
