The Director, Bivislan of Blomedical and Environmental Research, has orgenized a Radiological Assessment Review Group which Its composed of Individuals not directly Invelved in the survey and whteh will oversee and guide evaluations of the survey. Richmond, Los Alamos Scleatiflc Laboratory; and Or. A. H. Seymour, University of Washington. This group has been reviewing the adequacy and sufficiency of the survey data and thelr work Is now nearly complete. It Is expected that recommendations of this group wlll be generally favorable as to the corpleteness of the survey report. The Olrector, Clviston of Operational Safety, has forned a Task Group to prepare the recomended Judgements and recosmendat fons for Commission approval. This Task Group has been workine with the AV and LLL staffs closest to the survey as well as knowledyeable AEC staff (DMA, O3ER, DWMT, ORS), Interagency staff (p00, 991, EPA), and advisors (TTP!, BNL). These recommendations and Judgements, to be forwarded for the Commission's censideration by December 1, 1973, will be Ulstced to radiological considerations and will Include: a. Recommendations en whether the radtation anvironment of the atoll ts acceptable for permanent habitation; b. Actions which provide for radtation dose raductions through alterations of the environment;
