To estaolish distribution yatterns of diagnosis oF thyroid cisease
oy age, 3eK, type OF Glsease, Locale, and year;
To estimate tne distribution pavters or the onset of first symptoms oF tayroid
Giseasé cy age, sex, and type Of Ciscasea;
To esvablish whe distribution oF survival oF thyroila cancer patients by sex,
age QU alagnosis, and vype oF tumor; anc,
To establish the distribution of the causes of death as entered on deata
certificates of patients previously clagnosed as saving thyroid cancer
Summary:
The collection of wayeone patrolcey Gata and case histories as collected
in Uten acd Nevada from 1946-1963 will be extended to other States including the
State or Avizona.
Priority will be given to the collection of tnese data rom
States in waich populavion svudies referred to above are being performed.
