As a part of the study program on thease fish the entire lot were individually weighed and measured to provide data for con~ tinuing the study of growth in length and weight. | Some of the male fish in this group are sexually mature but no attempts were made to use their spawn for fertilization experiments because of a lack of females of the same age class with mature eggs.
