STOOL: BMES:ARS
In reply to your inquiry about the above mentiousd subject the
following comments are offered.
x. Dunaing's report swesarines the data through 1956.
Since
that tine three “radisbielogical surveys" have been made -
July, 1957; March, 1958; and Septesber, 1955. Wo foraal reports
coubining all the observations fros ene trip into one report has
been made but sections of data have heen completed ani subaitted
The University of Washington sssunes that part of its responsibliity
im the Zeugealep program is to provide inforestioa to DB from which
De. Dunniag can eveluste the health hasard to the Rongelapese of
eating the local feed izes. Furthermore it ascumes that the
recomendations end suggestions wade by BEM previous to the return
of the natives im June, 1957 still prevail especially since all the
data for the last three surveys shew no incressein raedicectivity~
in fact the decline hee been about as expected snd can be reasonably
wall predicted.
All the Rongelep data from the Duiversity of Washington is on file
ie the Eoviroementel Sciences Branch and has alse been sent to
Dr. Dunning.
