Mr. Strauss pointed out the advantage, from an international relations standpoint, of rapid completion of the technical review, and early announcement of our intentions. Other Business 1. Meeting with Senator Pastore - Mr. Libby suggested that a meeting be arranged with Senator Pastore to discuss several points relative to power reactor agreements for cooperation. 2. ABC 476/10 Assistance to West Germany - Mr. Strauss asked that recommendations be submitted in the light of the exchange of correspondence with Ambassador Conant. Items ofInformation 1. Conversations with the BOB resulted in approval of a supple- mental request for $112,500,000 and indication of BOB approval of the extension of the domestic ore procurement program to 1966. 2. Report of the strik:s at the ACF Flant in Buffalo, N. Y., Hanford, Portsmouth and Paducah. The ACF strike was settled on May 25, 1956. 3.
