Gordon Gould made a project site visit for the U. S. Public Health
Service at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Iowa City on December 3.
On
December 7 he visited the Laboratory of Physiological Hygiene of the University
of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
On December 6 he gave a lecture sponsored by the
Department of Physiological Chemistry of the University of Minnesota School of
Medicine entitled "Recent-Studies on the Absorption, Biosynthesis and Metabolism
of Sterols."
Payne Harris, Ogden Johnson and Jim Perrings made a trip to NPG to coordinate matters pertaining to H-4 participation in the spring tests.
Jake Spalding presented a paper on "Beta Burn Studies on Sheep" to the
Physiology Section at the annual meeting of the American Society of Animal
Production in Chicago on November 26.
