Intensive work has progressed both at Oak Ridge and Los Alamos in

obtaining the necessary pretest calibrations.

In this work the Godiva assembly,

which had never been used in this way previously, has been a most valuable
tool.

It is hoped that the proposed project will not only provide answers to

many of the questions for which answers are desired, but also will confirm or
deny criticisms which have been directed at the work previously done.
