Enclosed is the file on the Bikini cleanup, with
the final "No" by DEPSECDEF,
I have also included the Interior response to the
DoD turn-down, dated 19 June, reiterating a need
for support, but this time over the entire proposed
program.
The meeting was held on 25 June with DoD holding
to the position that we saw no Defense interest
warranting our continued involvement.
